Iran has ban the study of English language in its primary schools as a means of wading off America’s influence on its culture.

Mehdi Navid-Adham, Head of the state-run High Education Council warned that learning the language of America too early would trigger a “cultural invasion” of Western civilization. “Teaching English in government and non-government primary schools in the official curriculum is against laws and regulations.
